The Rock Hill Schools Board of Trustees voted 4-2 to accept Elementary Reassignment Option 4B during its Monday, February 8, 2021 meeting. While additional guidance is developed for our families, we have temporarily disabled information on this page. We understand you will have questions and concerns relating to this decision and the impact on your family. Please know we are developing resources that will provide more direction to families. As approved, the reassignment plan will go into effect for the 2021-2022 school year.
What you can expect?
- All families potentially impacted will receive a letter from the school district in the coming days.
- Information about "grandfathering" rising 5th graders who are now assigned to attend a different school in August 2021.
- An extension to apply to attend a school of choice program will be available for families impacted by reassignment.
