    The mission of the Rock Hill Schools Food Service Department is to provide high quality, nutritionally sound food service programs that support student learning, health, and development. In cooperation with our food service management company, Southwestern Foodservice Excellence all schools serve a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day.  All meals served meet nutritional standards established by federal (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (South Carolina Department of Education) regulations.

    • Meals for Virtual Academy Students

      Open meal pick up times are from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Information needed to receive meals would be; guardian’s name, student’s name, and student number. A dedicated food service staff member would prepare the meals that are needed and bring them out to your car when you arrive. A breakfast for the next day would be provided concurrently with lunch. Food handling instructions will also be provided.  All meals throughout the school year would be provided free of charge for all enrolled virtual students at the Rock Hill School District.

      The pickup schools are Ebinport Elementary, Castle Heights Middle School, Dutchman Creek Middle, and Northwestern High School. Any Rock Hill school district student can receive a meal from any of the designated pick up locations.


    • Free and Reduced Meal Application
      ALL student meals will be free to students through the 2021-2022 school year.

      Free/reduced meal applications for the 2021/2022 school year are now open.

      Meals will be provided free of charge for the 2021/2022 school year. Though this is the case, qualifying for free or reduced meals may also qualify you for additional benefits including PEBT, reduced district fees, etc. The fastest and easiest way to fill out an application is online at www.lunchapplication.com. Paper applications can also be obtained at your school. If you fill out a paper application, they can be handed in to your school’s office staff or sent directly to the food service department at 1234 Flint St. EXT, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
