Welcome to Rock Hill Schools Food Service Department
Feeding Hearts and Minds One Day at a Time
The mission of the Rock Hill Schools Food Service Department is to provide high quality, nutritionally sound food service programs that support student learning, health, and development. (View Rock Hill School District Three of York County Board Policy ADF - District Wellness) In cooperation with our food service management company, Southwestern Foodservice Excellence, all schools serve a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day. All meals served meet nutritional standards established by federal (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (South Carolina Department of Education) regulations.
Summer meals are again being offered at the Rock Hill School District!
We will be providing meals to school-age children again this summer. Students must be present to pick up meals.
June 2022

- Pick-up meals will be provided at both our Ebenezer Elementary and Castle Heights Middle school locations starting on June 1.

Meals can be picked up in the back of these locations and brought to your car by a dedicated food services staff member.

Meal pick-up time is from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Each student will receive a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the next day.
- The program will run Monday through Thursday until June 30.
July 2022-
- In July, the district, including meal programs, will be closed for Fourth of July.
- Starting on July 5, summer meals will be offered at Castle Heights Middle School for school-aged children. However, due to USDA regulations, children will have to consume their meals onsite.
- Breakfast will be available from 8 to 9 AM and lunch from 11:30 AM to 1 PM Monday- Thursday.
- This program will be available until August 4.
- In July, the district, including meal programs, will be closed for Fourth of July.

*(NOTE: Free & Reduced Meal Application for 2022-2023 school year will be available by mid-July. The current application is for the current school year only.)
- Free and Reduced Meal Application 2021-2022 ONLY
ALL student meals will be free to students through the 2021-2022 school year.
Meals will be provided free of charge for the 2021/2022 school year. Though this is the case, qualifying for free or reduced meals may also qualify you for additional benefits including PEBT, reduced district fees, etc. The fastest and easiest way to fill out an application is online at www.lunchapplication.com. Paper applications can also be obtained at your school. If you fill out a paper application, they can be handed in to your school’s office staff or sent directly to the food service department at 1234 Flint St. EXT, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
