Thank you for visiting the Virtual Academy website
Rock Hill Schools continues to be committed to providing school choice options that meet the needs of our students and families.
The virtual program benefits those who wish to learn from home, while still having access to certified teachers and to a challenging curriculum.
Teachers in the Virtual Academy provide face-to-face instruction via live-streaming and digital coursework through computer-based platforms. The Virtual Academy serves students in grades 6 through 12.
Students in the Virtual Academy follow a schedule just as they would in a traditional brick-and-mortar school. Attendance DOES count, as does school-appropriate behavior.
Thanks to technology, students will be able to see and hear dedicated teachers deliver standards-based content, ask questions, participate in classroom discussions and independent work, and turn in class work and tests, all from the safety and comfort of their homes.
Welcome Back to Rock Hill Virtual Academy!
Update Your Student's Information!
Parents, it is vitally important that you update your contact information for your student. In addition, we need a new Proof of Residency for every new student, and all 6th and 9th graders.
If you were contacted for new residency verification, please provide that as soon as possible, here!

Technology Fee Due!
Parents, your students' technology fee is due before the device is provided at our orientation.
Click HERE to go to e-School Online Payments and pay the fee, which is $20 per student for the year. Be sure to click the button for Adult Education and Virtual Academy when paying. Do not click on one of the brick and mortar schools.
Paying in advance will make your orientation experience a breeze!
Please note that all students will be required to pay this fee for the 23-24 school year, and that no waivers will be provided.
