Summer Science Contests

Science is important for our children's future development and success. Although they are taking a few weeks off for the summer, we do not want them to take a break from learning. The links below will open the Summer Science Contests for rising 4th - 9th grade students.
A few notes about each:
- Each contest ends on Tuesday, June 29, 2017.
- All schools are closed on Fridays.
- The sheets for rising 4th and 5th graders may be dropped off at the front desk of ANY Rock Hill elementary school. It does not have to be taken to the school your child attends.
- The posters for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grades may be dropped off at the front desk of ANY Rock Hill middle school. It does not have to be taken to the school your child attends.
- The Biology 1 Kickstart-Summer 2017 for rising 9th graders is completed online in Canvas. It is due to be complete by June 29, 2017.
- All participants will be recognized at the start of the 2017-18 school year.
- Winners will be announced at the start of the 2017-18 school year.
- If you have difficulty downloading or printing the Rising 4th-6th grade documents, please pick up a copy at any elementary school.
