** Work Orders:
In order to track/trend requests, it is very important to use the work order system when needing assistance. If the request is urgent, you can also call. This process will prevent having to make multiple calls for the same request.
*** Work Orders can technically be entered by anyone - this person is called a "Requestor". At each school a SITE ADMINISTRATOR has been designated to enter/review/approve requests for all staff.
*** The term "WO" may be used in correspondence - this is short for Work Orders.
*** Site Administrators should check their "approval" tab often throughout the day. The sooner the WO is approved by the Site Administrator, the sooner it will route to Operations to be assigned to a technician.
** Having a Back Up person to approve requests:
Work Orders can be entered by anyone - this person is called a "Requestor". At each school a SITE ADMINISTRATOR has been designated to enter/review/approve requests for all staff. Unfortunately, the system will only allow me to set up one "routing" per facility. This means that only one person can be set up to "approve/deny" work orders.
Based on the set up in other schools, it would be a good idea to have a back up person set up to enter work orders at each school. Some of the work orders require immediate assistance and this will prevent a delay in getting them addressed. The "back up" person would have to use your login/password information.
