    Parents as Teachers® Home Visitation
    A certified family educator visits and provides support to parents in their role as the child’s first teacher.

    ParentSMART & Me
    Monthly parent-child activities for parents and their children ages two to five years. Designed to motivate play and positive interactions between parent and child. This group offers developmentally appropriate activities free of charge.

    • Nutritional snacks

    Teen Parent Program
    A certified parent educator visits monthly and provides support to teen parents in their role as the child’s first teacher.

    Monthly Teen Group Meetings (offered for teen parents that attend Northwestern, Rock Hill, and South Pointe High Schools)

    • Meetings strengthen parenting skills through information and discussion of relevant topics.
    • Assistance with ABC voucher for students enrolled in the Family Literacy program

    Parent Discussion Groups
    Strengthen parenting skills through information and discussion on topics of interest.

    • Childcare is available upon request.

    Parents can earn their GED and/or learn English while gaining support in reaching family and career goals. Participants learn how to prepare their children for school success, increase their knowledge and confidence regarding child development and benefit from a variety of family enrichment activities.

    Sylvia Circle Family Learning Center - Partner Services

    One-Stop Shop for families includes on-site support agencies, information, assistance and referrals to families with specific needs. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
