The mission of the Rock Hill Schools Food Service Department is to provide high quality, nutritionally sound food service programs that support student learning, health, and development.  (View Rock Hill School District Three of York County Board Policy ADF - District Wellness)  In cooperation with our food service management company, Southwestern Foodservice Excellence, all schools serve a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day.  All meals served meet nutritional standards established by federal (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (South Carolina Department of Education) regulations.

Summer meals are again being offered at the Rock Hill School District!

We will be providing meals to school-age children again this summer. Students must be present to pick up meals.

    June 2022

      • Pick-up meals will be provided at both our Ebenezer Elementary and Castle Heights Middle school locations starting on June 1.
      • Meals can be picked up in the back of these locations and brought to your car by a dedicated food services staff member.

      • Meal pick-up time is from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

      • Each student will receive a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the next day.

      • The program will run Monday through Thursday until June 30.

    July 2022

      • In July, the district, including meal programs, will be closed for Fourth of July.

      • Starting on July 5, summer meals will be offered at Castle Heights Middle School for school-aged children. However, due to USDA regulations, children will have to consume their meals onsite.

      • Breakfast will be available from 8 to 9 AM and lunch from 11:30 AM to 1 PM Monday- Thursday.

      • This program will be available until August 4.
