     Welcome to the Exceptional Student Education web site for the Rock Hill Schools. Currently, there are over 2,700 students with special needs enrolled in various programs for students with disabilities throughout the district. Over 300 teachers, therapists, employment specialists, and assistants are employed to meet the unique, individualized needs of students who have been found eligible for specialized instruction and services. Instruction is provided through a variety of models including consultative, collaborative and inclusive, as well as pull-out resource services and specialized services and programs.

    In addition to the ESE staff, we also collaborate with Rock Hill Vocational Rehabilitation, HeadStart, and other outside resources to assist our students with disabilities.
