Verify Your Student Will Join Us Next School Year
We hope your summer is off to a great start. We are working to get ready to kick off the 2022-23 school year but we need your help. Please verify that your student will be returning to Rock Hill Schools through our verification process.
Verification Process for 2022-23
To verify the return of your student for the 2022-23 school year, you will need:
• Your student’s Canvas username and password which we have provided in via email on June 20.
• Proof of Residence that is current within the last 90 days.
You will need to complete the process separately for each student in your household.
First, go to our website to verify your child will be a returning student: http://www.rockhillschools.com/verify
Log in using the email and password that were provided to you via email on June 20. If you didn't receive an email, reach out to email@example.com
Please be sure to fill out the verification documents with correct contact information as this is what we will use to get in touch with you throughout the 2022-23 school year.
Things to Know
Some additional documents may also be requested as part of the verification process. Your student’s school will reach out to you if additional items are needed.
The link for Free and Reduced Lunch in the 2022-23 school year is not yet available. We will send out an email when it opens in July and you can fill out the application at that time. After applying for meal service, you will receive a letter which is required for the Challenger after-school program reduced rate.

After you complete the verification process and your residency documents have been approved, your school will reach out to you with information about schedule pick-up, open houses, or other special events that will kick off the school year.
School supply lists will be posted to our website in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for those.
Throughout the month of July, our verification team will be available to provide in-person help to anyone who may be struggling with this process. The Verification Help Center will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays in July at Sunset Park Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our team will be available to help you fill out the paperwork online, scan in documents, and answer any questions you may have.
