NOW OPEN: Program Options Applications
Traditionally, children are assigned to a public school according to where they live. Rock Hill Schools recognizes each student is unique and we offer several program options designed to help meet those needs and nurture students’ talents, interests and aptitudes.
School program options, formerly school choice, fosters parental involvement and high expectations, and gives parents the opportunity to choose the school to meet their student’s needs.
Rock Hill Schools offers programs in:
- Accelerated Studies - Grades K - 5
- Arts - Grades K - 5
- International Baccalaureate - Grades 6 – 8 and 11, 12
- Inquiry - Grades 3 - 5
- Language Immersion (Spanish and French) - Grades K - 5
- Montessori (Tuition-based) – 3K, 4K
- Montessori – Grades K - 2
- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math - Grades K – 12

Every family will need to create a new login for this application process.
Existing Rock Hill Schools students are welcome to apply for our available spaces in these programs through this application process if you wish to enroll your student in a program they're not currently in.
Current Program Options Families
If your student is a fifth grader in language immersion or STEAM and will be a sixth grader next school year and want to remain in their program, you do not need to complete the application. However, you are required to complete the intent form provided by your current school.
If your student is an eighth grader in language immersion or STEAM and will be a ninth grader next school year and want to remain in your program, you do not need to complete the application. However, you are required to complete the intent form provided by your current school.
Intent forms will be sent home on Jan. 8 and will need to be completed by Jan. 22
Please note, all families will also have to complete verification later this year to indicate their children will come back to the school district for the 2025-2026 school year regardless of choice.
