New Program Providing More Learning, Credits for ATC Students

Our Applied Technology Center (ATC) gives students the opportunity to take technical and career courses. After taking and passing these courses, students are eligible for college credit. A new program coming to ATC will allow logistics and distribution students to take a challenging course that will aid them in the future.

Jesse Spain from Schaeffler Group USA visited ATC to present an $8,000 check for the new Mechatronics Dual Credit Program. The new class will prepare our students for manufacturing jobs requiring electrical and mechanical skills. This check was crucial in helping us get the program up and running.

We thank our community partners at Schaeffler Group USA for investing in our students. We are ready to see how this course challenges them.
