Rock Hill Schools Announces Administrative Changes

On Aug. 23, 2024, Rock Hill Schools announces the following administrative changes for the 2024-25 school year at the direction of the superintendent. We look forward to welcoming the following individual to her new role.

Sunset Park Center for Accelerated Studies (Sunset Park CAS) announces Tara Blackwell as Interim Assistant Principal for this school year. Blackwell started this school year as a Math Instructional Coach at Sunset Park CAS. She’s been in the position since 2016. Blackwell’s entire teaching career has been at the school, joining the team in 2004 as a first grade teacher. Before that, she did her teaching year at Sunset Park.

She earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University and a Master of Technology and Education from Lesley University, Cambridge. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University.
