Rock Hill Schools Announces Administrative Changes & Placements

On June 27, 2022, Rock Hill Schools’ Board of Trustees approved the following administrative changes for the 2022-23 school year as recommended by district leadership. We look forward to welcoming the following individuals to Rock Hill Schools.

Rawlinson Road Middle School announces Patrick Ledford as assistant principal for next school year.

Ledford is joining Rock Hill Schools from Union County Public Schools where he has served as a high school assistant principal since 2019. He also has experience as a Dean of Students in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and started his career as a math teacher. 

He earned a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education from UNC Charlotte in 2013.

Rock Hill Schools Announces Administrative Placements

The following administrators will serve in different leadership capacities for the 2022-2023 school year.

Brian Hollingsworth will serve as assistant principal at Sullivan Middle School. He is currently serving as an assistant principal at Saluda Trail Middle School this past year.

Steven Knight will be welcomed back to Rock Hill High School as an assistant principal. He has spent the last year serving our country in the United States Army.

Shannon Reed will serve as assistant principal at Saluda Trail Middle School. She is currently working as an assistant director of Alternative Programs.

Stephen Truesdale will serve as an administrator of Alternative Programs at the Flexible Learning Center. He is currently working as an assistant principal at Rock Hill High.
