Board Approves Plan, New Calendar

On Thursday night, the Board of Trustees voted to continue with the district's Return to School plan.  Students who choose in-person learning will attend in a C/A/B/A/B model. We will publish our comprehensive plan next week.

Students and families may still opt for the 100% virtual option as part of the Rock Hill Schools Virtual Academy. The application for this program will be open July 17-27.

Whether a family chooses in-person or virtual learning, students will follow a new academic calendar that was approved tonight. The new calendar pushes the start date for all students to Tuesday, September 8. Pre-K through 8th grade students will participate in LEAP week, August 31 - September 4, in small groups to become more acclimated to the procedures that will be put in place for the year.
