  • October 31st - Juniors and Seniors may take a college visit.  Register in advance on the website of the college.  When you return to school, bring the participation letter to the attendance office. This day will only be marked as a college visit day when the letter is returned.

*These events will be updated as information comes into the Guidance Office. However, be sure to check the webpage for the college(s) you are interested in for any events they will be holding throughout the year*

Each Junior or Senior may take two college visits per school year.

Colleges Visiting NHS

  • September 21st—College Application Day  9 AM-12 PM

For Seniors (and 3rd year grads) only—We will have admissions representatives from across South Carolina (college/ university, technical programs, and some military) available to talk with students about their programs. This is a day created to help seniors apply to college and walk through the applications.
Fee waivers will also be available on the day of the event from certain colleges in South Carolina, so students don’t have to pay for many applications.

    September 26th—Winthrop College Fair  12 PM-1:30 PM

We will host the Winthrop College Fair on campus in the F gym. Over 75 colleges attend and this is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet with representatives of schools they may not be able to visit. (Please ask your teacher to sign up for you and your class to attend).
