Our mission...
Northwestern High School Media Center encourages and engages students in reading, viewing and listening for understanding and enjoyment. The library media center is an integral part of curriculum support. The collection is developed and evaluated collaboratively to support the school's curriculum and to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of our students. We have over 20,000 books, two daily newspapers, and 35 magazine subscriptions, print and online, as well as the Discus databases. All 9th grade students attend a media center orientation. Specific reference skills are taught as needed.
