James Berry

I have taught for 15 years across all social studies content areas, I currently teach AP European History and Government/Economics. I hold a B.A. from Winthrop University and an M.A. from the University of South Carolina. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about the outdoors—whether it’s whitewater boating, canoeing, camping, hiking, or gardening, if it’s outside, I’m all in. I’ve been happily married for 25 years, and I’m proud to have two grown children and a granddaughter. Teaching isn’t just my profession; it’s my identity. If you ask me what I am, I’ll simply say: a teacher.
