Adam Christopher

Lieutenant Colonel Adam L. Christopher is the Medical Management Director for the 96th Medical Group, Eglin AFB, FL. He leads a team of 20 members providing top quality healthcare to a patient population of 119 thousand eligible enrollees. Lieutenant Colonel Christopher ensures 96th Medical Group beneficiaries receive evidence based, timely, appropriate, cost effective, quality, and coordinated care to affect desired clinical outcomes utilizing the major components of Population Health.

In 2002, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the Community College of Western Nevada, Carson City, Nevada and accepted a commission as a clinical nurse in the Army Reserves. Prior to his Army commission, he served 12 years enlisted in both the Army as a Reconnaissance Specialist and with the Air National Guard as an Optometry Technician. Lieutenant Colonel Christopher completed a 24-month mobilization to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany in December 2006 and transferred to Active Duty Air Force in February 2007.

Lieutenant Colonel Christopher has numerous deployments to southwest Asia in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.
