Dr. Sarah Richard
School Psychologist
Hi, I’m Ms. Sarah Richard, and I’m excited to be the new School Psychologist at Northwestern High School. Originally from New York City, I recently moved to Charlotte, NC, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Rock Hill School District.
Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a high school biology teacher, including supporting homebound students in New York City. I also served as an instructional coach, helping teachers improve their instructional practices before transitioning into my role as a school psychologist. Last year, I worked with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, and this is my second year as a School Psychologist.
I’m passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy fine dining, road trips, and exploring new places. Whether I’m at the beach, traveling, or shopping, I always try to find joy in life’s adventures.
I’m looking forward to getting to know the students and families at Northwestern High School and being a part of this wonderful community.
