Ashley Gilbertson

Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, I moved to South Carolina in 2014. Before I was a teacher, I worked as a blood bank phlebotomist and loved educating donors about the impact of their life-saving donations. Education, helping others, and serving my community have always been passions of mine, and in 2016, I finally committed to my dream of becoming a teacher!

As a science teacher, my mission is to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and cultivate a deep appreciation for the natural world among my students. By nurturing a passion for science, I aim to equip my students with the knowledge and skills they need to become informed global citizens and future innovators.
