4th grade is an exciting year! In Social Studies, we learn about events in the US. We start with Colonization and end with Reconstruction. In Science, we will learn about weather, animals, astronomy, light, and sound. Math is all about multi-digit multiplication, division, fractions, and much more! In Math Workshop we learn how to collaborate with our peers to solve problematic tasks. In reading, we work on deeper comprehension with grade-level texts. We also learn about multi-paragraph essays and research reports.
