Scottie Ard

My name is Scottie Ard and this will be my tenth year teaching and my first year at Ebenezer Avenue as well as my first year in the Inquiry program. I do have many years of experience in inquiry having previously taught in an inquiry-style program. I have taught 5th grade my entire teaching career, so I may be a little biased when I say 5th grade is the very best! I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education in 2015 and started my career in the Rock Hill School District the same year. My husband Landon and I have been married for 6 years, we have a 14 month old son named Charlie, and a dog named Birdie. I grew up going to Rock Hill schools for elementary, middle and high school. I'm an avid reader, love sports of all kinds, and am a big fan of spending time at the lake or at the beach! I am looking forward to being a part of the Ebenezer Avenue family and can't wait to meet everyone in the fall!
