I’m Darrell McGill Jr, the Corporate Relations Manager for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte. Our mission is to provide a safe, affordable, and caring "home-away-from-home" for the families of children receiving treatment in area medical facilities.
I’m reaching out to share a leadership/volunteer opportunity for rising high school juniors and seniors through our Teen Volunteer Board program.
The Teen Volunteer Board (TVB) is a group of determined high school juniors and seniors that have the collective goal to empower the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte through service. The pillars of the board are Leadership, Advocacy, Fundraising, Community Awareness, and Cultivating. The TVB program works in partnership with the Youth Council (high school freshmen – seniors). TVB will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 4:15 pm-5:30 pm from September through April except for holidays, house conflicts, and schedule adjustments.
We are currently accepting applications for our 2023-2024 Season until Friday, June 2nd by 8pm.
