The School Improvement Council (SIC) serves as an advisory committee for the school. Unlike voluntary school organizations, the SIC is mandated by law to exist in every public school in South Carolina.  SICs play a key role in the education of our state's children, bringing together parents, educators and community stakeholders to collaborate on the improvement of their local school. (To learn more about SICs in South Carolina, please visit the website for the SC SIC.)

Our first SIC Meeting will take place this upcoming Tuesday, 11/17/20 via Zoom at 4:15 p.m.  The link will be sent out to attending parents on Monday prior to the meeting.  The agenda for this meeting will include introductions and review of old business.  This meeting will set the stage for future meetings and there will be no motions or votes at the first meeting.  The agenda and minutes for the SIC meetings will be public record and will be posted on our school website.
