Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Clemson University
Ms. Virginia Theriault
Background: I grew up in Tampa, Florida and then Nashville, Tennessee. I still have family in both of these places and love going to visit them. I went to Clemson University for four amazing years (Go Tigers!!) and I got my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Literacy, Culture, and Diversity. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in third grade and feel that this is truly what I am meant to do! This will be my second year teaching here.
Favorite thing about teaching: I love getting to help my students challenge themselves, grow, and succeed in ways that they may never have imagined before. Reading is my favorite subject to teach because I love sharing my love for reading with my students and helping them to gain the skills to be lifelong readers as well.
Family: My family is very close and we love to travel and play lots and lots of board games! Though we live in many different places now, I love going to visit all of them for holidays and special occasions.
Hobbies: I love to read books, watch movies, cook, travel to new places, go bowling, spend time with friends and family, and cheer on the Clemson Tigers!!
Favorite Things: dolphins, KitKats, Chipotle, anything Clemson related, wandering the rows of books at Barnes and Noble or library
