Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jade Lavender
Hi! My name is Jade Lavender and I teach the Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade Unique Pathways 1 class. I was born & raised in Rock Hill and attended all of my years of school in Rock Hill School District, graduating from Rock Hill High School in 2013. I then went on to college and graduated from Winthrop University (Go Eagles!) in May 2018 so this will be my second year of teaching!
When I am not at school, you can find me at the beach, spending time with my husband and our friends & families, playing with the love of my life (my dog, Latti), eating at Charandas or cheering on the gamecocks in Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturdays in the fall! A special place called Camp Arc has had my heart for the last 6 summers and I thoroughly enjoy being a camp counselor when I am not being a teacher :)
I am a huge adocate for children and am so fortunuate that I found my passion of working with individuals with disabilities so early on in life. I am beyond blessed to be living out my dreams at one of the best schools around! I am so excited for this school year and can't wait to see what my second year has in store for my students and me!
