Mrs. Heather King

Hi, I'm Heather King! This will be my 16th year teaching. I've taught 4th grade, was a kindergarten assistant for one year, and now am an academic interventionist. I am excited about being at York Road!

I was a part of a military family and have gotten to live in quite a few places like Okinawa, Japan, Hawaii, and a number of different east coast states. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Florida. Go Gators! 

My husband's name is Kyle and we have two kiddos, Kaelin and Connor. Kaelin is a senior, and Connor is a sophomore. They both go to Northwestern. We have two cats whose names are Scooby and Jingles. I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking and camping.

It's going to be a great year!
