Michelle Taylor

Hi! My Name is Mrs. Michelle Taylor, and this will be my 13th year teaching.  I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade again this year at York Road! I have taught Kindergarten for 4 years, First Grade for 5 years, and Second Grade for 3 years.  First Grade is my favorite! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University (2008) and with my Master’s in Education from the University of South Carolina (2018).  

 

My husband (Jeff) and I have 2 daughters (Ella and Hannah). We also have 3 dogs who are very much part of our family! For 10 years, we were a military family and lived in South Korea, Georgia, and North Carolina. Our family loved living overseas but were so thankful to move back to Rock Hill to be with all our family and friends in 2019.    

 

I love animals, the fall time, flavored coffee, swimming, decorating, spending time with family, and organizing. I look forward to a wonderful school year at York Road!
