• Welcome, Bienvenido, and Huānyíng!

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome each of you to Ebinport   Elementary School. We look forward to working with you and with your children. Our school focuses not only on the core content areas of reading and writing, math, social studies and science, but also on world languages and global studies.

Built in 1949, Ebinport has a sixty plus year history of excellence! Did you know that Ebinport Elementary got its name from the Ebenezer, India Hook, and Newport Communities? We have a diverse student population from not only all over the United States, but also all over the World! Our students and staff enjoy the opportunity to learn from each other. As you enter the doors to Ebinport you are sure to delight in the warm welcome you receive from our students and will marvel in the family feel our school offers.  I am having the same experience as I find my “sea legs” as the new principal of Ebinport Elementary.

As the principal of Ebinport, I am proud of the many accomplishments that have been achieved by our students and teachers. I have the extraordinary privilege of working with a committed staff whose number one priority is serving the needs of our students and families. Ebinport continues to engage students in grade K-5 in a partial Spanish immersion program. We have over 150 students who participate in the immersion program. Students have the opportunity to learn math and science in Spanish and receive social studies, reading, and writing in English. Imagine how far ahead children will be when they enter middle school after working for six years towards becoming multi-lingual, multi-cultural, and multi-literate!

We welcome and encourage you to participate in the life of our school through one of the many academic or extra-curricular activities at Ebinport.  Without your support, we would not be able to offer the quality of programming we currently deliver.  Thank you for the many ways you support us each day!
