Dr. Stacy Samuels

I am from Marion, South Carolina, but I have lived in Rock Hill for several years. Prior to moving to Rock Hill, I taught in Darlington County. I have experience as a classroom teacher, academic interventionist, and ESOL teacher.

My passion for both teaching and learning drives my instruction. I enjoy integrating the arts in my lessons, and I love seeing students grow, develop, and make progress throughout the year. I believe that early intervention in reading and math is important. When teachers put students first and help them enjoy learning and experience success, students tend to show academic growth and interest in excelling. In addition, I believe in the power of professional learning communities because teachers can collaborate, use data -driven instruction, share and implement research-based best practices and resources to help students learn and grow academically, and develop themselves as lifelong learners.

When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, going on vacation, going out to eat, going to the movies, watching television, and sleeping.
