Mrs. Elizabeth Baker

I am thrilled to be your child's school counselor at Independence Elementary School. I collaborate with families, staff and community members to help meet the needs of our students, provide care and support and enhance student academic and social/emotional development through the ASCA framework.  I am here to support and address developmental needs and help to remove barriers to learning through short term individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom counseling lessons, school wide initiatives, crisis intervention and the coordination of services.  Independence is a wonderful school and community, I look forward to working with your students this year!
