Miss Maggie Stephenson
My name is Maggie Stephenson and I will be joining Mrs. Rider’s class as the student teacher. I am currently a senior at Winthrop University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I am super excited to learn all about 3rd grade!
I was born and raised in Black Mountain, NC. The beginning of my teaching career started in high school, where I did a semester long internship at Evergreen Community Charter School. This experience inspired me to continue my journey in education at Winthrop.
At Winthrop, I have been able to learn so much about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment and have had the opportunity to work in schools of all levels of students and backgrounds. I can not wait to continue this learning journey and be a part of the community here at India Hook!
In my free time I love to play violin, read, make crafts, hike, and be in the sunshine!
