My name is Amanda Rider and this will be my 13th year of teaching. I am so excited to join the India Hook crew this year! I am coming from the Fort Mill school district to be closer to home. I have previously taught second grade and I'm ready for a new adventure in third.

 

I was born in Rock Hill and graduated from the University of South Carolina in Early Childhood Education. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Indtruction in 2018. I love technology and STEAM and look forward to incorporating it into our classroom throughout the year. 

 

My husband Mikel and I have two amazing sons- Ollie who is three years old and Jack who is one year old. We also have a Westie dog named Cooper. We love spending time together by traveling, playing outside, and doing anything soccer-related.
