Mrs. Kim Allen

My name is Kim Allen and I teach second grade at Independence. I am very excited for the opportunity to partner with you this year.  Second grade is such an exciting year for students!  I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I have over 25 years of teaching experience, and this is my seventh year at Independence! Go Patriots!!

My husband and I have two grown children and two grandchildren. We love spending time with our grandchildren as they bring so much joy to our family!  We also enjoy the beach, family trips, and fall weather.  We are HUGE Clemson fans (GO TIGERS) and we LOVE college football season.
