Ms. Tessa Marley

Hey there! My name is Tessa Marley, and I will be teaching first grade here at India Hook. This is my fifth year teaching first grade. I am excited to see all the new adventures this year will bring.  

I am originally from Castle Rock, Colorado. I moved to South Carolina in 2014. I graduated from The University of South Carolina Beaufort with a degree in early childhood education with an elementary education add on. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, crafting, and spending time with my family. 

I believe that children learn from doing. My class is encouraged to be creative and engage in hands-on activities throughout the year. I am excited to see all the things we will create, and I am looking forward to another wonderful year in first grade.
