Mrs. Kayla Elliott

5th grade is such an exciting year and I look forward to working with each of you!

My husband, Michael, stepson Eli, and two dogs live in Fort Mill! As a Fort Mill native, I have loved starting my own family in the town where I grew up! Eli will be a fifth grader in Ms. Wilson’s class this year! I am excited to share this year with him and all the other students who will fill my classroom beginning in August. This will be my 12th year teaching. In 2013, I received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University (GO EAGLES!). During my senior year at Winthrop, I completed my internship at India Hook, and after graduating, joined the Pirate staff as a 4th grade teacher! I taught 4th grade for two years before moving to 5th grade. When I am not at school, I love to cook, read, complete DIY projects, spend time with my family, and get outdoors with my dogs Haddie and Sullie. I find true joy in my job as an educator and look forward to an amazing year!
