Mr. Hollingsworth - Assistant Principal
Degrees and Certifications:
I am excited to be a part of the Saluda Trail Wildcat family in my third year as Assistant Principal. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from the University of Phoenix in 2011. In 1997, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Winthrop University. My teaching career began at Lancaster High School as a special education teacher for students with severe/profound learning disabilities. I have served various roles as teacher and Coach in my 15 year career at Northwestern High School, Metro School in Charlotte, Independence Elementary, Oakdale Elementary, and Ebinport Elementary. On a personal note, I have two sons who mean the world to me. My oldest son, Griffin, is a sophomore at Winthrop University. Carson, my youngest son, is a sophomore at Rock Hill High School where he is a member of the Cross Country and Track teams. I graduated from Whitmire High School in 1993 where I played football, basketball, and baseball in addition to being the Student Body President my senior year. My hobbies include water skiing/tubing, golf, woodwork, camping, and hiking. I love being in the mountains seeing all that nature gives us. I look forward to working with you, your child and the entire Wildcat family. I believe every student can learn at a high level and will do everything in my power to ensure students experience success in and out of the classroom. My goal is for all students to have the skillset needed to be productive members of a global society. Go Wildcats!!!
