Mr. Miguel Caldwell

Greetings! My name is Miguel Caldwell and I’m so excited to teach 4th grade here at Oakdale. I am originally from Bethune, SC. I graduated from Winthrop with a B.S. in Elementary Education in May 2023 and during my time there I learned the true meaning of what being an educator is all about. Oakdale was actually the first school I stepped foot inside once I moved to Rock Hill for college as a volunteer and it has always felt like family. I am so excited to officially be part of this family and contribute to the community in our school. 

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy binge watching television shows, socializing with friends, listening to podcasts, or taking the hour trip home to visit my family. 

A quote that sums up my passion for education comes from my all time favorite singer, “I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way,” Whitney Houston.
