Mrs. Takela Burns

Mrs. Takela Burns has been with the Rock Hill School District for the past fourteen years where she served as a teacher at Rawlinson Road Middle School and as an assistant principal at Dutchman Creek Middle School for the last eleven years. She was an elementary teacher in North and South Carolina for 9 years prior to teaching middle school.

Mrs. Burns earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University, her Master’s degree in Human Resource Development with a dual degree in HR Management from Webster University, along with her Education Specialist degree in leadership and supervision from Cambridge College. She has a husband Dwight, two children, Dwight Jr. and Nadia.
