Rock Hill Schools Announces Administrative Changes
The Rock Hill Schools’ Board of Trustees approved the following administrative changes for the 2024-25 school year as recommended by district leadership. We look forward to welcoming the following individuals to Rock Hill Schools.
Richmond Drive Elementary announces Robert Hamm as principal.
He has been serving as assistant principal at Independence Elementary for six years. He previously spent six years as a middle school AP and two years as a CTE teacher. He also has experience as a curriculum specialist and as an elementary teacher.
He earned an Education Specialist degree in Leadership from South Carolina State University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Coastal Carolina University.
Northside Elementary announces Adrienne Young as assistant principal for next school year.
Young is currently serving as a school counselor at a middle school. Her experience also includes serving as a school counselor for more than eight years at the elementary and secondary levels. She has also spent time as a director of guidance at the secondary level for four years and a college placement director at the secondary level for four years including in both private and public schools.
She earned a Master of Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Winthrop University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Presbyterian College.
