On April 25, 2022, Rock Hill Schools’ Board of Trustees approved the following administrative changes for the 2022-23 school year as recommended by district leadership.

Dr. Marek Marshall, currently serving as an assistant principal at South Pointe High School, has been named principal of Saluda Trail Middle School for the 2022-23 school year.

Dr. Marshall has been with South Pointe since 2019, and his previous roles include Assistant Principal of Rawlinson Road Middle School for nine years, a social studies teacher at Dutchman Creek Middle School, and a high school teacher.

We look forward to Dr. Marshall’s leadership to make the transition period for both Saluda Trail Middle School and South Pointe High School smooth and successful.

Dr. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from South Carolina State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Wingate University, and an Education Specialist degree and Doctorate of Education with a Focus on Distributive Leadership from Liberty University.
