Beginning in August 2019, we have been fortunate to have the presence of a district employed mental health counselor (through the department of Exceptional Student Education). Ms. Meshia Williams visits RDES on Tuesdays. Parent permission is required for students to receive long-term therapeutic counseling with Ms. Williams. Referrals for mental health services with Ms. Williams are made from Catawba Services (if their services are not a best fit) or by school administration or counselor Spain. On a weekly basis, she is serving: Sullivan, Richmond Drive, Central, Cherry Park, Rosewood, and Northside
