• As we approach the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, we are planning for the start of middle school athletic programs.

    We will have a district-wide middle school coaches meeting during the second week of August. At that time we will discuss the safety protocols that need to be in place for middle school athletes as related to COVID 19. We must ensure that we have appropriate staff on each campus to monitor student wellness and safe protocols are in place for the safety of our middle school students. We look forward to welcoming middle school athletes on campus prior to the start of the school year. More information will follow after our coaches meeting the second week of August.

    Athletic Transfer Appeal Process

    Appeals will be heard by a five member panel comprised of:

    •               Three high school principals
    •               One middle school principal
    •               Associate Superintendent responsible for athletics                                                                                                                                                                                                             

    Appeals will be heard prior to the start of each sport season. 

                  Designated times would be during the following months:

                                May      July       October      February

    The decision of the panel will be provided to the parent/guardian in writing within three days of the appeal hearing. The decision of the panel is final.

    Eligibility appeals need to be submitted in writing to the Planning Office. After written notice is received, the parent/guardian will be notified of the date and time for the Athletic Panel Review.
