Ashley Ghent

My name is Ashley Ghent and I have been a 5th grade teacher at Mount Gallant Elementary School for the last 21 years. I graduated from Winthrop University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. I became National Board Certified in 2007. I met my husband, Danny, while in my freshman year at Winthrop and together we just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. I enjoy learning new things and can always talk about a new project I am working on in my spare time. However, spending my days in the 5th grade brings my heart the most joy.
