8th grade Washington trip...There will be a trip meeting for all parents on Tuesday, April 25 at 6 p.m. in the RRMS Auditorium. We will discuss itinerary and check-in procedures.  We also need to discuss medical issues, clothing, and what/how to pack.  All pink medical forms and copies of insurance are due to your science teacher by Friday, April 7. You can also email copies of insurance to aclamp@rhmail.org.

Autism Awareness...April is Autism Awareness Month...RRMS will be celebrating it by everyone wearing blue on Friday, April 28. 

6th grade parents...Don’t forget to turn in the DHEC consent form if you are interested in  receiving the Tdap vaccine that is required for 7th grade.  The Tdap clinic at RRMS will be May 4.  Time to be determined.  If you have any questions, contact Nurse Neil.

Winthrop University’s 3rd Annual Sonia Kovalevsky Day...will be Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Owens Hall, Room 103. Join us for a day full of fun mathematics for girls grades 6-8. Topics will include sequences, Fibonacci Numbers, the Golden Ratio, the Golden Rectangle and more. You can expect interactive lessons, group activities, free lunch, free t-shirt and a scavenger hunt. Tutoring...will end the week of May 12. Any student that needs extra help can attend tutoring but must come with an assignment they are struggling with.  They must have a specific assignment or standard difficulty, or the tutor will send them on their way.  Tutors are as follows:

Student Supervision...Students are permitted to arrive on school property at 7:45 a.m. No supervision is offered of students before 7:45 a.m. Student supervision concludes at 4:15 in the afternoon!
