4K E-Learning Packet

Dear Rock Hill Schools Families,

Recognizing that our teachers and staff need time to prepare lessons, eLearning will begin for students on Thursday. Our team members will be working tomorrow to prepare online lessons and information packets for students. On Tuesday, your child’s school principal will share specific information and schedules for students to pick up laptops, textbooks and other needed resources that may have been left at school last week.

Earlier today, our community partner Comporium announced plans to offer 60 days of free Internet service to currently unsubscribed homes. The service offered will include “Standard HSI/Package 1” free for 60 days. There will be no connection charges or credit checks for parents or guardians taking advantage of this offer. To qualify, the home has to fit all of the following:
•    Be the primary residence of a student in Kindergarten through grad school,
•    Not be a current Comporium Internet customer,
•    Not have had Internet with Comporium for the past 90 days, and
•    Be located where we could normally serve them.

Breakfast will be available between 8 – 10 a.m. and lunch will be available between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Meals will be available to all children 18 years of age and younger. To pick up a meal, please visit the location most convenient to you. Children must be present with a parent or guardian to receive a free meal.
