On Tuesday, February 28th, Aspire & Raven academies hosted its first annual "Military Expo" event. This event was planned by guidance counselor and veteran Demetria Roach with the intent of getting our students thinking and excited about a career in the military.
Recruiters from various branches of the United States Armed Forces set up stations in the gym and outside. During the expo, the students will gain military exposure as well as valuable career information while participating in fun and competitive activities.
During these activities, the aim was to build comradery, show sportsmanship, and, most of all, have FUN! As you can see from the images below, both students and staff had a great time.
