Student Council: It's cool to be kind, anti-bullying campaign week
Students will view an Acts of Kindness video on FNN. Student Council members will pose a challenge to be kind throughout the day. Students will receive information about the upcoming essay contest. Interested students will come up with an idea for a new way to increase awareness about bullying and create a poem about it. Think about this: How can you help people understand that bullying in a problem? Submit your form via the google form link: https://forms.gle/ynBjybcF8TrKkK47 by Wednesday, March 27th.
Student Council Members will serve as ambassadors for kindness and pass out anti-bullying wristbands throughout the day.
Interested students will come up with an idea for a new way to increase awareness about bullying and create a poem about it. The top three winners will be announced during the in-school game on Friday. These students will receive a prize from Winthrop University.
Students will read and sign the anti-bullying banner agreeing to promote kindness and positivity during all three lunches.
Eligible students will attend the students vs. teachers March Madness (in-school) basketball game. Students will complete a school-wide lesson on the importance of kindness.
*Tickets for the game will be sold in the gym from 7:45-8:15 a.m., starting March 21st through March 28 at a cost of $3.00. *
