Rock Hill Schools Announces Administrative Changes
On Jan. 24, 2022, Rock Hill Schools’ Board of Trustees approved the following administrative changes for the 2021-22 school year as recommended by district leadership. We look forward to welcoming the following individuals to Rock Hill Schools.
Dr. Jennifer Yearta Miller will join the district’s Professional Development team as an Instructional Technology Specialist.
She has been working at Old Pointe Elementary School as a fifth grade teacher for 18 years. She’s also worked to support instructional technology at OPES and as a reading interventionist during her time in Athens, Ga.
She earned a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University last year and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Winthrop University in 1999. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Winthrop.
Mary Jefferson will join the Business Services team as an internal auditor.
She joins the Rock Hill Schools team after working for the State of South Carolina for more than 15 years. Her most recent role has been with the Department of Employment and Workforce.
Ms. Jefferson holds a Master of Business Administration from South University. She has also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from South University.
